The Brazilian Carnival Ball over the years has supported various Brazilian Charities. An article in the 2001 Brazilian Ball magazine, tells the story of these and the impact on the small town which gave birth to the Brazilian Ball.
Associa a Divina Misericordia
- Contributed to the "Life without Drugs" project that supports individuals and their families dealing with chemical and alcohol dependency
Santa Casa Hospital
- Created a wing to house the diagnostic clinic.
- Purchased a MRI and mammography machine.
- Obtained and shipped donations from Wellesley Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital which included beds, mattresses, bed linens medicine and medical equipment.
- Created a maternity wing.
Hospital Gedor Silveira
- Created a working garden where patients are able to pass the time planting vegetables and flowers.
- Created a working wing for patients with autism.
Villa S. Vincent de Paulo - Home for the Aged
- Built two wings to allow separation of men and women within the home.
- Created a dental clinic for treatment of the residents.
- Built a recreation centre for the residents.
Other Brazilian Charities
- Helped in the renovation of St. Judas' Church.
- Helped in the renovation of the Igreja da Abadia.
- Provided a Massey Ferguson tractor to "the Escola de Agricultura."
- In the city of Batatais, the Brazilian Ball created a pavilion for the APAE Association of Fathers and Friends of exceptional children.
